Rod Boaz

Rod Boaz, Founder of Elastic Media Corporation is a former Business Development Manager at Mitsubishi International Corporation. Working under the direction of the Silicon Valley and LA Branch offices, Boaz oversaw a variety of media related businesses including motion picture, video game and merchandise rights licensing. Boaz was the key local liaison on behalf of Memory Tech & d-rights, Inc., both subsidiaries of Mitsubishi Corporation focused on content and packaged media (CD/DVD related businesses). Boaz applied his creative and marketing expertise to introduce and gain distribution for several animation and interactive titles from Japan including Sonic The Hedgehog, X, Sakura Wars and the billion dollar hit Beyblade. A graduate of California State University at Fullerton, Boaz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies – International Business and a Minor in Pacific Rim Studies.
In his spare time, Boaz operates a internet broadcasting business, www.prepsradio.com where he enjoys broadcasting high school and youth sports. He also volunteers his time on the Board of Directors for Placentia PONY Baseball and on the citizens Bond oversight committee for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
